So you are fully informed before you appointment, below is Moonee Ponds Periodontics & Implant Centre’s payment policies.

  • Payment for consultation / treatment needs to be made on the day of the consultation / treatment.
  • Payments can be made by cash, cheque, EFTPOS, Visa Card, Mastercard, American Express or direct deposit.  We do not accept Diners or charge a credit card transaction fee.
  • There are Hi-Caps facilities available if you have dental extras. You will need to bring your private health insurance card to each appointment as it needs to be swiped through the terminal.
  • Hi-Caps claims can only be made on the day of consultation / treatment.
  • For implant surgeries you will be asked to pay a deposit 14 days prior to your surgery date.  You will be advised of the amount in a written quote that will be provided to you.
  • We do not accept Medicare.

Payment Options

If you have any difficulties with payment please contact reception on 9375 7700 prior to any treatment as there may be other options available.

  • If you are a Workcover or TAC patient you will need to pay for the initial consultation and claim it back through the appropriate insurer.
  • We will then apply for approval through the insurer for treatment.  This can be a long process so please be patient.
  • Our scheduled fees are higher than what Workcover or TAC pay, so there will be a gap between what the insurer will pay and our fees. You will be responsible to pay this gap.
