Elizabeth Wells EDH, Dip. DHC
Elizabeth Wells qualified as a Dental Hygienist in 1983 from Guys School of Dental Hygiene in London. Elizabeth worked in general practice before coming to Melbourne in 1990.
Here Elizabeth continued in general practice until coming to specialist practice at Moonee Ponds Periodontics & Implant Centre in 2007.
Elizabeth has been involved in her association DHAA (Vic branch) spending time in most roles from Treasurer to President.
Elizabeth enjoys expanding her knowledge of all aspects of dentistry through continuing education.
Teena Lazaridis Dip Dent Hyg (LON)
Teena Lazaridis graduated from Guys Hospital London. She spent 27 years in London and during this period worked in a number of specialist practices in gaining a wealth of experience not just in dentistry but in life having been on Europe’s door step.
In her role as a hygienist, she aims for the highest standard and prides herself in gentle and efficient treatment. In more recent times, changes in modern day health awareness and the correlation between heart disease and the mouth have become extremely important. As a result, treatment is geared to a preventive approach with an array of treatments tailored to each patient’s needs.
Teena moved back to Australia in 2005 where she has worked in general practice and more recently in the field of periodontics.
Background is of Greek origin. Her command of the Greek language is fluent.
She has two adult children and a husband that is a Dento-Legal Adviser. Her hobbies include collecting antiques, opera and creative handwork.
